I always wanted to open a blog where I'll jot down my technical knowledge and works to share with everyone round the globe, and in the process learn from their comments. The day ultimately came on 24th Feb, 2011 when I opened this blog with the purpose in mind.
This status code seemed pretty interesting to me. So I thought, since real HTTP servers are never going to use this, and since coffee is the immense source of energy and refreshment for coders.. so why not I use it!! That's it...i decided to call this area of mine AREA 418 and it's pretty open unlike the famous and mysterious AREA 51. Not ipressed?..huh! forget it!
>> What's this "AREA 418" ??
I know you might be wondering about the significance of the name of the blog. So here's my story - The first thing that worried me while creating the blog was it's name! Although Shakespeare has aptly(atleast for this blog!) said - 'What's there in a name?'....still I thought a catchy name would go fine with the blog, specially if it's related to technical stuffs. I was searching randomly through my mind for a name when suddenly I remembered the 'HTTP status code 481'. Read details HERE.HTTP status code 481: this code was defined in 1998 as one of the traditional IETF April Fools' jokes, in RFC 2324, Hyper Text Coffee Pot Control Protocol(HTCPCP), and is not expected to be implemented by actual HTTP servers.
